Getting up late and nothing to do.
Taking a shower. Taking your time.
Doing your hair and grooming your body.
Reading and writing and thinking of you.

Watching a movie and reading a book.
Sorting the garbage. Sorting things out.
Doing the laundry and cleaning the kitchen.
Time for lunch. What will I cook?

Get out into the sun. Get ready to start.
Your Monday is blue because you let fall it apart.

First of all I would like to wish you all a very nice Easter Holiday and thank you for all the positive reaction on this idea.

Then I would like to recommend you two websites:

1.) A very good online dictionary:

Here you easily find all the translations you need. And also a Forum where you can ask for help with more complicated translations or specific words that you cannot find in the dictionary. I use this a lot and in the Forum you usually get an answer to your question within a few minutes.

2:) For Grammar and Vocabulary practice:

This is the website of an old friend of mine who studied at the university with me. It is completely for free and apart from a wide range of grammar exercises you find very good grammar explanations there which you can download as a Word.doc. :-). Suzanne is a teacher for English and German in a business high school (Handelsakadmie) in Vienna and these exercises were created for her pupils. She has had her own website for years and also written some grammar practice books.

I really hope that you find these two websites useful and have fun with the grammar practice.

Dear English communty,

as I was asked about my English I would like to give you a short introduction of myself.

I studied Englisch at the University of Vienna about 20 years ago. Until I started working fulltime about 6 years ago I was giving English lessons to pupils, mainly from business schools. So I have quite a lot of experience in teaching English. I also did English courses for my kids' friends when they were in elementary school and during their first years in high school.

And I always tried to keep in touch with English by reading mainly English books and watching movies in the original. Now I am working in an international environment and English is a tool I really need every day.

I might make some mistakes now and then - nobody is perfect - but I can certainly claim that my English is rather good. It would of course be nice to have a native speaker around just to make sure.
